1.3. By registering as a user of Buja Fasta (“User”), you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and undertake to comply with them.

3. HOW DOES BUJA FASTA WORK?​

3.1. On Buja Fasta, you can:

  • If a buyer refuses to pay upon delivery after receiving the item in good condition, they may be subject to consequences according to applicable government regulations regarding fraudulent or abusive purchases.

  • Sellers receive their payment from Buja Fasta after buyer confirmation and a 24-hour security window.

4. SERVICE FEES

4.1. Requesting to open a shop, adding items, and selling items on Buja Fasta is free of charge. There are no fees for sellers to list products or operate their shop on the platform.

4.2. Buja Fasta is responsible for handling all product deliveries. Sellers do not need to arrange their own shipping.

4.3. When making a purchase, buyers pay a service fee, delivery fee, and the cost of the item, all of which are calculated and applied automatically at checkout.

4.4. Order Cancellations:
If an order is cancelled because the item was not shipped or delivered, the buyer receives a full refund—including the service and delivery fee.

5. TRANSACTION SECURITY

5.1. All transactions must take place within the Buja Fasta platform. No outside payments, direct money transfers, or alternative shipping methods are allowed.

5.2. Funds are held securely by Buja Fasta until the buyer receives and confirms the item is in good condition. This protects both buyers and sellers from fraud.

6.1. All transactions and payments on Buja Fasta are currently handled within Burundi and paid out manually. Sellers receive their payments in local currency (Burundian Francs) after the buyer confirms successful delivery of the order.

6.2. Buja Fasta complies with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding payment handling, anti-fraud, and user verification. If required by law, Buja Fasta may request identification documents from users or share information with legal authorities.

6.3. No international payments or bank transfers are supported at this time.

7. DEADLINES FOR DELIVERY, CONFIRMATION, AND PAYOUTS

7.1. Once a buyer places an order, Buja Fasta collects the item from the seller’s physical store and delivers it to the buyer as quickly as possible.

7.2. The buyer has 24 hours after delivery to inspect the item and confirm its condition. If the buyer finds any issues, they must notify Buja Fasta within this 24-hour period. After this time, the payment is automatically released to the seller and no returns or refunds will be accepted.

7.3. Sellers receive their payment from Buja Fasta 24 hours after buyer confirmation (or if no claim is made within 24 hours of delivery). All payments are made in local currency and processed manually.

7.4. If Buja Fasta cannot deliver the item within a reasonable timeframe (for example, if the seller does not provide the item or if an item remains undelivered for over one month), the order will be cancelled.

8.3. Quality and Description: Buja Fasta does not inspect, guarantee, or verify the quality, suitability, or description of any items sold on the platform.

8.4. Disputes and Complaints: If a buyer has a complaint about an item, they should contact Buja Fasta, who will connect the buyer with the seller for resolution. Buja Fasta does not get involved in the sales agreement or dispute resolution between buyers and sellers.
